As part of your job, you’ll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a varied fleet of construction machinery and equipment.

You’ll work both in and out of the shop, and sometimes work directly on unusual projects.



  • Ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and machinery
  • Adjusting, repairing and replacing parts on equipment
  • Performing testing procedures on equipment to ensure proper functioning and that repairs comply with requirements
  • Performing related maintenance work on equipment and machinery
  • Participating in major repairs in accordance with the Mechanical Foreman’s instructions
  • Performing checks and repairs on equipment or machinery that will be subject to inspection
  • Travelling to various sites to carry out repair and maintenance work



  • Diploma of Vocational Studies in construction equipment mechanics
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction equipment mechanics
  • Skills in diesel mechanics and hydraulics
  • Available to travel outside as needed
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
