A FOURTH TUG IN VANCOUVER HARBOUR

We are pleased to announce that a fourth tugboat has been added to our Vancouver fleet!

The OCEAN GEORGIE BAIN, a 24-metre tug built in 2009 at Ocean Industries Inc., joins the three tugs already operating  on the West Coast.

Ocean B.C. Towing Inc., a related corporation of Ocean Group, has been offering harbour  towing services in the Port of Vancouver since March 2020. Two new 28-meter tugs, built in 2019 in a Damen shipyard in Vietnam, had been acquired specifically for this first breakthrough in the west. A third 33-meter tug, built at Ocean Industries Inc. in 2002, was added to start operations.
