We are actively seeking a ship’s cook for the OCEAN TRAVERSE NORD (OTN). The incumbent will be responsible for cooking for the nine crew members of the largest vessel in the Ocean fleet (64.3 m in length) and the only suction dredger in Eastern Canada. The vessel performs major dredging projects throughout Eastern Canada and the Caribbean.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:
- Plan supplies needed for travel;
- Place orders;
- Set up menus;
- Ensure the preparation of meals for the nine-member crew;
- Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS:
- MED Basic Safety STCW Certificate;
- Ship’s cook certificate or catering diploma;
- Relevant experience on board a vessel (asset);
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards on board a vessel;
- Valid Canadian passport;
- Availability to travel frequently to different operation sites.
- Languages: advanced level in French and intermediate level in English, oral and written.
