A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF WHAT TO EXPECT

Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the incumbent supports the Director in the preparation of capital project analyses, maintains the financial plan and assesses cash flow requirements based on planned projects. In addition, the incumbent will work closely on the development of the information architecture required for performance analysis.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES YOU WILL BE ENTRUSTED WITH

Development Projects – Part

  • Performs financial analysis of investment projects and development initiatives in support of management and the Board of Directors
  • Acts as a resource person to support business units in the analysis of their projects, including the preparation of business plans
  • Develops consistent analysis tools across business units
  • Helps develop internal expertise in financial modeling

 

Financial projections – Part

  • Performs the analysis and preparation projection report
  • Performs ongoing update financial plan and reports on the degree of achievement of the growth plan
  • Evaluates cash flow requirements in relation to our financing capabilities

 

Information Systems – Part

  • Participates in the development of the information architecture to adequately monitor the performance of business units
  • Participates in the design and implementation of reporting tools and financial projections

 

PROFILE SOUGHT

  • Hold a University degree in business administration, finance or accounting
  • Have, at least, five (5) years of relevant work experience in a similar position
  • Hold a CPA designation – asset
  • Excellent oral and written French language skills
  • Have a functional level of oral and written English
  • Knowledge of the Office Suite software; Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of the SAP enterprise resource planning system – asset
  • Have a sense of customer service and be a team player
  • Demonstrate a high level of rigor, integrity, and possess a highly developed analytical and synthetic mind
  • Be flexible, adaptable and have a great capacity to adapt
  • Ability to handle several files at the same time
