We are actively seeking a Diesel Mechanic to repair, maintain and service workboats, small tugs and maritime equipment used for various special projects. He will also be required to assist with dredging operations.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:

• Ensure proper functioning of vessels, equipment and machinery before and after their use on a project.
• Make necessary adjustments, repairs, and installations to boats and other equipment.
• Participate in the testing of repaired equipment to ensure that it functions properly and meets requirements.
• Be available for frequent travel to worksites.
• Prepare maintenance reports.
• Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.

OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS:

• Vocational diploma in marine or agricultural mechanics, diesel engines, construction machinery or heavy road vehicles
• Minimum of three to five years’ experience in this or a similar role
• Any other relevant training will be considered
• Languages: good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken.
