We are actively seeking two (2) people to fill our cook positions on board our tugs for trips to Baffin Island.
WHY GET ON BOARD?
- Temporary employment – July 7 to August 2. Dates to be confirmed.
- Work equipment provided;
- Unique experience of travelling to Baffin Island on the tugs OCEAN TAÏGA and OCEAN TUNDRA!
- Return trip paid for by the employer.
YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:
- Develop menus;
- Plan and order supplies for the trips;
- Prepare meals for the crew;
- Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS:
- Professional diploma in cooking or equivalent (asset);
- Ship’s cook certificate (asset);
- Experience in cooking;
- FUM-STCW aptitude certificate;
- Valid medical certificate;
- Advanced marine first aid (asset);
- Languages: intermediate level in French and English, oral and written.
