We are actively seeking two (2) people to fill our cook positions on board our tugs for trips to Baffin Island.

WHY GET ON BOARD?

• Temporary employment – July 7 to August 2. Dates to be confirmed.
• Work equipment provided;
• Unique experience of travelling to Baffin Island on the tugs OCEAN TAÏGA and OCEAN TUNDRA!
• Return trip paid for by the employer.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:

• Develop menus;
• Plan and order supplies for the trips;
• Prepare meals for the crew;
• Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.

OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS:

• Professional diploma in cooking or equivalent (asset);
• Ship’s cook certificate (asset);
• Experience in cooking;
• FUM-STCW aptitude certificate;
• Valid medical certificate;
• Advanced marine first aid (asset);
• Languages: intermediate level in French and English, oral and written.
