We are actively seeking an Assistant Coordinator – Quality Assurance to assist the Coordinator – Quality Assurance in all inspections for shipbuilding, repair and maintenance projects. He ensures that the quality standards prescribed by the shipbuilding industry and/or the customer are met and supports project managers and foremen to achieve this.

YOUR TALENTS WILL BE USED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CHALLENGES:

  • Ensure effective application of the company’s quality assurance management program;
  • Assist the teams in the execution of projects to ensure work compliance;
  • Conduct regular internal quality audits;
  • Follow up on non-conformities, draw up a list of reworks and communicate it to project management teams;
  • Draft all official inspection reports and follow up with the Project Manager;
  • Maintain the company’s ISO standard;
  • Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.

OUR IDEAL COLLEAGUE HAS:

  • College diploma in document management or other relevant training;
  • Between one (1) and five (5) years of experience in this role or a similar one;
  • Any combination of training and experience;
  • Very good proficiency in Microsoft 365, mainly Word and Excel;
  • Languages: very good proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken;
  • Thoroughness and commitment to excellence;
  • Good stress, time and priority management skills;
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
