Ocean offers efficient and safe harbour towing services in the ports of Quebec, Trois-Rivières/Becancour, Sorel-Tracy, Montreal/Contrecoeur, Hamilton, Oshawa and Toronto.

All of Ocean's harbour towing subsidiaries have obtained ISO 9001:2000 and ISM (International Safety Management) certifications.

Docking/Undocking
Assistance and docking/undocking manoeuvres for ships, i.e. arrival to and departure from dock.

Other manoeuvres
Various harbour manoeuvres such as moving a ship from one place to another by hauling it with its towing lines.

Ship Escort Services
Escort, by one or several tugs, with or without tow lines, for operations such as navigation in difficult passages, winter conditions or unusual meteorological conditions.

Assistance to Ships in Distress
Towing for ships that have lost steering, propulsion or both.

Delivery of Lubricants
Delivery of lubricants at anchor via a tug approved for that use by Transport Canada.

Ship Supply Service at Anchor or at berth
Delivery of materials and supplies at anchor or at berth.

Firefighting
Tugs equipped with FI-FI 1 systems based at our Québec City facilities are available in case of emergency. These tugs can go anywhere needed to provide prevention services.

De-Icing and opening Passages in Ice
Most of our tugs' hulls are classed for ice navigation and can provide de-icing and ice-passage-opening services.

Pilot transfer Services
Thanks to its pilot boats, Ocean can provide fast, efficient and safe transfer services for pilots and other personnel. During winter, this service is provided by tugs certified to that effect.

Refloating, Wreck Removal and Marine Salvage Services
All of Ocean's equipment can be mobilized rapidly to assist ships in distress, refloating or wreck removal of grounded or sunken ships.
