Ocean Group obtains Green Alliance Certification
Canadian towing company Ocean Group has announced plans to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by up to 20%. Ocean's founder Gordon Bain confirmed his plan to have the ''greenest'' tugs in Canada.
Knowing that water and energy are closely linked and that a sound use of these two resources is essential to preserve the well-being of our environment, Ocean Group inc. has equipped its newly constructed tugs with the new generation of Tier 1 engines.
We are decidedly turned towards the future and, as our Green Alliance certification will attest, have made sustainable shipping a very important part of our organizational mission.
