Drydock of the Cap d’Espoir
Drydock of a 15-m lifeboat
Isle-aux-Coudres, spring 2013 - Ocean Industries’ shipyard performs the drydock of the CCGS Cap d’Espoir lifeboat belonging to the Canadian Coast Guard.
This is a regulatory 5-year drydock . The 15-m ship has been drydocked with a powerful crane to enable the verification of the propeller shaft and the reservoirs. Some components of the ship had to be replaced by the team of specialists of the site to put the ship in order.
Sandblasting and painting have also been performed to revitalize its appearance.
