The Félix-Antoine-Savard in dry dock

Ocean’s efficiency allows it to push its own limits

Isle-aux-Coudres, July 2009 - The Ocean Industries team succeeds in mounting the Félix-Antoine-Savard ferry onto the shipyard's 5,000 ton hauling slip. The ferry is 83 m long and 21.5 m wide and boasts a gross register of 2,489 tons. It is the biggest vessel ever hauled up onto the slip, and the operation has been possible by improvements to the equipment. The ferry is at the shipyard for its mandatory five-year dry dock.
