Floating wharf at the Port of Québec
The floating wharf: a versatile concept
Québec City – A floating wharf design was developed for Océan Remorquage Québec’s tugs. This very versatile wharf can be installed wherever there is a need to compensate for lack of facilities or to improve existing installations. The wharf, designed to withstand the heavy waves and severe ice conditions typical of the St. Lawrence, moves with the tides. The huge floating structure is also equipped with caissons where Océan Remorquage Québec can store equipment used to maintain and repair its vessels.
