Floating Wharf in the Port of Québec

Our floating wharves concept is very versatile and can be used wherever there is a need to compensate for the lack of infrastructures, or to improve existing installations. For example, since November 2005, Ocean Remorquage Québec has been using this concept for docking its five 30-meter, 705 MT tugs in the Port of Québec.

These barges are designed to withstand the stress from heavy waves and Québec City's severe ice conditions. Another advantage is the wharf's ability to move with the tides, thus enhancing the safety of embarking and disembarking from the ships at all times.
