Ferry Félix-Antoine Savard at Ocean Industries

On May 28, 2009, the ferry Félix-Antoine Savard was raised on Industrie Océan's hauling slip.  Measuring 83 meters in length, 21,5 meters in width and with a gross register tonnage of 2,489 tons, it is the largest vessel yet to have been raised on our hauling slip. The operation was a great success thanks to the great efficiency of our shipyard's personnel and also to the recently improved 5,000-ton outdoor hauling slip.

The ferry should be at our shipyard for approximately three weeks, during which it will undergo its regulatory five-year dry dock.
