Ocean played a crucial role in the transportation of the largest hydroelectric turbine ever made by GE Canada. Destined for the Three Gorges Dam in China, the turbine, weighing 420 tons and measuring 5.4 meters high by 10 meters in diameter, was too large to be transported by land to the Port of Montreal. Ocean transported the turbine via the Lachine Canal to the Port, where a ship was waiting to take it to Shanghai, China.
